SFMC Training
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is Salesforce’s platform (or cloud) for digital marketing, marketing automation and customer engagement. It is a software as a service (SaaS) platform made up of three editions (Pro, Corporate, and Enterprise) each with different levels of functionality and additional add-on features for users to further increase their capabilities. Note: Some geographies outside of the U.S. may have a fourth edition of the platform.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a platform capable of supporting many marketing processes, including multi-channel campaign execution, dynamic customer journeys and campaign analytics such as audience building and segmentation, advertising and data management.
Marketing Cloud uses two primary components called Studios and Builders to achieve this:
Studios manage and engage with channels of communication. In the Marketing Cloud, they include Email Studio, Interaction Studio (now called Marketing Cloud Intelligence) and Mobile Studio.
Builders manage customer data, content and customer journeys. In Marketing Cloud, they include Contact Builder, Content Builder, Analytics Builder and Journey Builder.
